This hose will replace the OEM hose part number 49720-30P00. These hoses commonly fail at the restrictor (in the center of the hose) and can often cause the failure of your alternator as well by spraying power steering fluid directly onto it. This hose has been redesign so that the restrictor is now inside the hose, removing that point of weakness.
